Designs
In college I took a Media Design class where I worked with InDesign and Photoshop. I also took a Web Design class where I first created this personal website as well as worked with a team to design a website for a client.
In my current position as Engagement Coordinator for Missouri Western State University, I use Canva, InDesign, and Photoshop on a regular basis to create content.
In March 2024, I also started volunteering for the CBYX Alumni Association helping design post for their social media platforms.

Below are just a few examples of the design work I did for kardellsims.com where I worked in collaboration with a team. I took on the design portion of the website while the other members took on the photography and video.
Social Media
I worked with a team for Landers Flowers of St. Joseph, MO to help them better brand themselves on social media. We worked closely with the owner and operator of the St. Joseph branch, Jill Knorr, and helped her transform her Facebook and Instagram. Over the three months that we worked together, Landers Flowers’ Facebook and Instagram stories’ reach increased by 19.8%. Their Facebook posts also reached a much larger audience and was up 76.9%. They were reaching around 3,000 people and now reaching over 5,000 people.
Photography

When I was a young kid, I loved making videos and stop motions. I went on to discover I had an eye for photography in 2014. Several years later, I took a short class to learn how to use manual settings on a camera. Photography and videography were careers I considered for a while, but they have just been a long-term hobby of mine. My favorite content is self-portraits, nature, still-life, and street photography.
